Take that, everyone around you.
When your friends ask if you've heard of a particular band or artist, don't you just hate it when you respond with a snarky "I knew about them way before they got big," but you have no proof?
Well prepare to snark it up, because thanks to a new website created by streaming service Spotify, users can now see which bands they discovered first, with the top 15% of listeners categorised into an "early listener" list.
The 'Found Them First' experience allows users to see which artists they discovered early on and the date on which they heard that artist.
Commenting on the new program, VP of Creative & Brand Strategy Jackie Jantos said, "We love creating fresh ways for people to interact with music. This experience is an ode to the fans who truly love discovering new artists."

"Users are rewarded for listening early on, and earn some bragging rights. Of course, if you haven't discovered any new artists early on, and want to, Spotify can help you with that!"
