Stella DonnellySplit Singles Club is back in 2018 to deliver a wealth of double-sided 7” singles from killer Aussie artists right to your door.
The subscription service was launched last year by Milk! Records and Bedroom Suck and now they’re passing the torch to Melbourne-based record labels Poison City Records and Our Golden Friend to curate Split Singles Club Series Two.
This year’s edition will feature previously unreleased songs from Poison City artists Mere Women, Harmony, Bench Press and Mod Con, Our Golden Friend artists RVG and 808s & Greatest Hits, plus tracks from bands that they love – Stella Donnelly, Moody Beaches, Elizabeth (Totally Mild), Michael Beach, Way Dynamic and Bitch Diesel.
“We were delighted to be asked to curate Split Singles Club Series Two! Our friends at Bedroom Suck & Milk! did an amazing job with the first series, uncovering a wealth of awesome bands to put alongside their much loved label artists,” Our Golden Friend’s Lorrae McKenna said in a statement given to The Music.
“Australia has SO many great emerging bands and artists at the moment; a project like Split Singles Club allows us to shine a light on some more of that wonderful independent music community.”
The three-month subscription includes six 7” singles, delivered to your chosen address, featuring original artwork by renowned artist Stephen Tierney.
