Splendour In The Grass Announces Recipients For Share Of $42K Community Grant

$1 from every Splendour In The Grass ticket sold goes to the program.

Splendour In The Grass has announced the recipients of this year's community grants program. 

The program, which will this year's give away a total of $42,000, gives back to the local Byron Shire with $1 from every Splendour In The Grass ticket sold going to the program.

“After almost 20 years of Splendour in the Byron Shire, we’re thrilled to finally call North Byron Parklands our forever home and are committed to giving back to the organisations, community groups and initiatives that touch the lives of those across the northern rivers,” said Splendour In The Grass organisers Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco

This year's recipients includes Wilsons Creek Public School which will receive $10,000, Bunyarra Culture Collective receives $10,000 and CPL (Choice, Passion, Life) which will receive $2,694 in funding and 12 Splendour 2019 single day passes for six disabled teens and their carers to enjoy the festival.

  • Byron Bay High School: $7,000
  • Mullumbimby Public School: $5,420
  • Yellow Gate Medical Clinic: $3,000
  • CPL – Choice, Passion, Life: $2,694 + 12 x Splendour 2019 Single Day Passes for six disabled teens and their carers to enjoy Splendour
  • Brunswick Valley Historical Society: $2,079
  • Wu Chi Kung Fu: $1,000
  • 1st Byron Scout Group: $985


The 2019 Splendour In The Grass takes place at North Byron Parklands in Byron Bay this weekend.
