Fresh Finds: Class Of 2025 – Aussie Acts To Add To Your Playlist

It Might Be Summer Non-ratings, But People Still Want Their 'Spicks & Specks' Fix

'2010s Special' is fourth-highest rated show of the night.

Although it might now be a moot point now that it's officially the summer non-ratings period for Australian TV, the third of the Spicks & Specks specials for 2020 rated well last night for the ABC, being the fourth-highest rating program after the evening news bulletins on Seven, Nine and ABC.

The Special featured guests musicians Kate Miller-Heidke and Vance Joy and comedians Claire Hooper and Luke McGregor, alongside regular host Adam Hills and team captains Alan Brough and Myf Warhurst, with musical performances by Alice Ivy.

According to TV Tonight, the show pulled in 602,000 metro viewers, which placed it ahead of other programs in its timeslot including The Graham Norton Show, 60 Minutes and a Big Bash cricket match.

The strong figure bodes well for the show as it plans to return as a regular series in 2021, which was announced back in November at the ABC Upfronts.
