The lo-fi faves will play four shows in the country this May
Spanish lo-fi/indie/garage group Hinds have announced a four-date Australian tour in early May in support of their debut album Leave Me Alone, released on 8 January this year.
This will be the second Australian tour for the band formerly known as Deers in a little over a year. Hinds (incidentally, the word for female deer) rang industry bells under their old moniker up until 2015 when a legal challenge from a Canadian band with a similar name forced them to change it.
The quartet have wowed audiences the world over with their raucous live shows and their garage-poppy lyrics about love, partying and the confusion caused when they clash.
Hinds will be hitting Sydney's Newtown Social Club on Thursday 5 May, Melbourne's Northcote Social Club on Friday 6 May, Brisbane's The Foundry on Saturday 7 May and Perth's Rosemount Hotel on Monday 9 May.
