Shining a spotlight on local filmmakers, the 17th annual South Australian Screen Awards gave accolades to some of the state's best talents over the weekend, with documentary Michelle’s Story leading the pack to take out three awards.
The story of Australian dancer Michelle Ryan won Best Composition, Best Documentary and Best Short Film, while acclaimed Girl Asleep was recognised with the title of Best Feature.
