Soundwave promoter in disagreement with ticketing outlet

In the latest sequence of events, which underpin current doubts regarding Soundwave 2016, promoter AJ Maddah has updated his (always active) Twitter account with "facts" regarding this January's event.

In the latest sequence of events, which underpin current doubts regarding Soundwave 2016, promoter AJ Maddah has updated his (always active) Twitter account with "facts" regarding this January's event.

In overnight posts, Maddah alleges ticketing outlet Eventopia "changed [their] mind" regarding paying an advanced deposit. However, Eventopia, offering their reply, deny the statements, asserting they don't have any say on whether the festival commences.

It marks another eventful week for the fledgling festival after the Soundwave founder confirmed the 2016 would be the last. Moreover, NoFX have since reportedly pulled outBring Me The Horizon have discussed their respective concerns, and Maddah equally confirmed Soundwave Touring will cease.
