It wasn't much surprise that Soundwave Festival sold out its Sydney show for 2013 in less than a day. In news that will make the unlucky bunch who missed out on tickets happy, promoter AJ Maddah has announced that he will release a small number of tickets for the Sydney leg of the festival on September 21. The tickets have been made available after a number of scalpers had their large orders of tickets cancelled. For this reason, punters who have missed out on tickets have been urged to stay away from Ebay and other auction sites.
No extra tickets will be released for the sold out Brisbane and Melbourne dates. The organisers are hoping to have a buy/sell/swap meet for cost-price tickets online soon.
