SOUNDS AUSTRALIA Confirm SXSW 2019 Showcases

SOUNDS AUSTRALIA has confirmed it will return to Austin for SXSW 2019 and with it some of the festival's favourite showcases. 

Following the success of its inaugural event last year, Australia House will again showcase some of the country's best creatives, artists and innovators and will feature 65 performances from 10-15 March. 

THE AUSSIE BBQ will also go ahead in Texas, with some of SXSW's biggest Aussie acts confirmed to perform include Emerson Snowe, Gabriella Cohen, Amyl & The Sniffers, Angie McMahon, Mojo Juju and Oh Pep!.

SOUNDS AUSTRALIA will also host a late night film session and intimate conversation with Claudia Sangiorgi Dalimore, director of the critically-acclaimed documentary, Her Sound Her Story, alongside Mojo Juju.

Featuring over 45 artists, Her Sound Her Story details personal experiences and social impacts of women in the Australian music industry.
