The Go-Betweens Tribute, Jessica Mauboy & More Confirmed For ‘The Sound’ This Weekend

The next episode of ABC’s The Sound will feature a star-studded tribute to Aussie legends The Go-Betweens.

The show returns this Sunday at 5:30pm and the aforementioned tribute will feature Steve Kilbey, Paul Dempsey, Hatchie and Middle Kids, while Jessica Mauboy, Kate Miller-Heidke, Ball Park Music, Tkay Maidza, CXLOE, Shannen James and more also perform.

“I’m so blessed to be on The Sound this weekend,” Mauboy said.

“To be able to perform with my band for you mob is such an honour and to be able to sing Butterfly in the State Theatre was just incredible. To be able to connect with everyone through the language of music with all that’s going on in our country, I’m so grateful.”

Hosts Jane Gazzo and Zan Rowe will this week be joined by legendary Aussie actor Deborah Mailman (Offspring, Rabbit-Proof Fence, The Secret Life Of Us, The Sapphires), while the show’s From The Vault segment features Hunters & Collectors.
