A post-Sound and Fury house show made front page news after it became much larger than expected.
The iconic Californian hardcore festival had been shut down around 6pm due to a riot that broke out during Backtrack's set. Directly afterward festival-goers organised to have the remaining bands play at a nearby home via Twitter, Facebook and word of mouth.
Several bands ended up playing at the backyard show, which ended up attracting over 400 punters who raged on into the night. Six bands played for the police arrived at 10:30pm, including Bane, Foundation and Backtrack.
The owner of the property was fined $300 for violating noise restrictions.
