Souled Out Organisers Working 'Tirelessly' To Bring Festival To Perth

Modern R&B festival Souled Out has addressed punters’ concerns about the lack of dates in Perth and Auckland, stating that organisers are working “tirelessly” to make said dates happen.

Souled Out made its debut last March and stopped in Sydney, the Gold Coast, Auckland, Melbourne, and Perth. For its 2025 events, Souled Out surprised punters when revealing that it’s only stopping in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane next month.

Responding to Souled Out’s recent social media posts, followers wrote: “Perth would be keen too if yall would release the dates or say it’s not happening,” “Where’s Perth dates though??,” “Who cares... NZ lineup?,” “hey siri show me perth and nz tickets to souled out,” “Don’t piss me off WHEN ARE YALL DROPPING THE NZ SHOW,” and “is perth happening or not.”

While the festival hadn’t responded to people directly in the comments section, organisers shared an Instagram story yesterday (16 January) and addressed concerns about Perth and New Zealand dates.

“Hey souls, sorry for the radio silence on Auckland & Perth but we’ve been tirelessly working on making this happen and still are,” Souled Out’s Instagram Story reads. “Please hold tight and hopefully we’ll have some good news soon.”

This year’s Souled Out line-up is co-headlined by American rapper and singer-songwriter Don Toliver and R&B superstar Jhené Aiko. They’ll be joined by music powerhouse Vince Staples, Mariah The Scientist, 6LACK, BLXST, and Kaash Paige, among others. A separate stage dedicated to DJs has also been booked.

The Melbourne edition will take place at the Caribbean Gardens on Saturday, 22 February, before the artists head to Sydney’s Parramatta Park on Sunday, 23 February, and the Brisbane Showgrounds on Friday, 28 February. Tickets are available via the Souled Out website.
