Iconic soul legend Ben E. King has passed away aged 76.
The beloved musician reported passed away in New Jersey of natural causes yesterday.
After making a name for himself in the 50s with The Drifters, King launched his solo career in 1961.
His first solo hit, Spanish Harlem, was released shortly after, followed by his most famous work, Stand By Me. He also had a comeback in the ’70s.
Other hits in his catalogue include Young Boy Blues and Amor.
