Something For Kate's comeback album Leave Your Soul To Science has cracked the ARIA Albums Chart top five this week amongst stiff competition.
With Pink holding down the top spot for the third week running with The Truth About Love, Muse debuted at two with The 2nd Law. Mumford & Sons' Babel slipped to three and Birdy's self-titled managed four, just ahead of Something For Kate.
As predicted, Grinspoon were in the mix with their album Black Rabbits at eight, ahead of other debuts Lupe Fiasco at 17 with Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt 1 and Cody Simpson at 31 with Paradise.
The Temper Trap reaped the rewards of their AFL Grand Final appearance this week as well, their self-titled second album shot from 45 to 14, just behind The Rubens who are still at 13 with The Rubens in their third week.

In the ARIA Singles Chart there was a similar picture to the top of the Albums, with the incumbent viral hit Gangnam Style by Psy holding out British boyband phenomenon One Direction's new track Live While We're Young. The Temper Trap also had single success with Trembling Hands reentering at 38 – its highest point so far despite spending three weeks in the top 50 earlier this year. First album hit Sweet Disposition, which also featuring during their half-time performance last week.
Hair metal fans will be satisfied with the shake-up in Music DVDs as well, with Steel Panther's British Invasion hitting the top spot this week while the band are touring Australia. They knocked local X-Factor graduate Reece Mastin's Behind Closed Doors from the top spot to three, while One Direction's Up All Night – The Live Tour holds second.
