Social Distortion front man Mike Ness has revealed in a new article that the release date for the band's highly anticipated seventh studio album "Hard Times & Nursery Rhymes" has been pushed back to January 2011.
It was announced last month that the band's Epitaph Records debut was going to be released on November 23, but Ness has now announced that it wont hit shelves until January next year.
Ness also explained the album title:
"Music does the same thing for adults that nursery rhymes do for kids: It gives them an escape, and [it's about] not growing up. I'm not afraid of taking risks. It helped me in the direction of this new record."

Social Distortion will be making the trip to Australia in February/March 2011, playing the entire Soundwave Festival, as well as playing a headlining show in Melbourne with The Gaslight Anthem.
