Soccer Mommy Reveals 2025 Australian Tour Dates

Soccer Mommy (aka Sophie Allison) was already heading to Australia this June for RISING in Melbourne, Vivid in Sydney, and Open Season in Brisbane, but today, she’s announced additional tour dates.

The Nashville-based singer-songwriter has made waves in the indie rock sphere with her personal storytelling and luscious musical arrangements ever since (and before) the release of her debut album, Clean, in 2018.

Since then, she’s gone from strength to strength, experimenting with grunge on 2020’s color theory, dark industrial sounds on 2022’s Sometimes, Forever, and embracing tenderness with synths, looping stations, strings, and acoustic guitars on her latest album, last year’s Evergreen.

Last in the country in 2023, Soccer Mommy returns this June. In addition to her RISING, Vivid, and Open Season tour dates, she will also perform at the Torquay Hotel on Saturday, 14 June, Castlemaine’s Theatre Royal on Sunday, 15 June, and Perth’s Rosemount Hotel on Friday, 20 June.

Concluding a review of Soccer Mommy’s show at Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom in 2023, The Music’s Andy Hazel wrote, “After a solo rendition of early favourite Still Clean, the band return for an encore of the song that introduced her to most of us, Your Dog, a gloriously unifying end to a night that should nourish the heart of anyone doubting the power of a guitar and the well-written song in 2023.”
