"Inflation. Their salary went up!!”
Inflation is skyrocketing across the globe following the pandemic and world-famous superstar rapper Snoop Dogg is making sure his employees are receiving an appropriate living wage.
He announced on Twitter today that he had given a pay rise to his professional and personal blunt roller which he employed in 2019. He shared that initially, the position was worth $40,000 to $50,000 annually.
The rapper responded to a Tweet sent out by the account Uber Facts which read, “Snoop Dogg employs a full-time blunt roller who makes between $40,000 and $50,000 a year," by stating, "Inflation. Their salary went up!!”
Snoop Dogg recently made headlines after sitting down with internet superstar Logan Paul for an episode of his podcast Impaulisve, for a new, tell-all interview.
During the 55 minute episode, Snoop said that he once rejected $2 Million USD to DJ at a party for Michael Jordan.

"One of the craziest deals I turned down was $2 million to DJ for a Michael Jordan event, and I turned it down. And I've never met Michael Jordan, and I wanna meet him," he said.
"'Cause I was doing some other shit, I had shit to do and I had way more customers before I get to you.
"Nah, but I never met Michael Jordan, and I wanna meet him, and I wanna meet him on a different - I don't wanna meet him on no DJing. I wanna meet him as a fan, as a boss."
He also intimately described his last moments with friend, collaborator and label mate 2Pac.
He spoke on the time that 2Pac was shot in a drive-by that would eventually take his life in 1996.
Snoop described the moment by saying, "We feeling like it’s going to be alright until we go to the hospital and see that he ain’t alright.
"He got tubes in him, and it’s like when I walked in like I could just feel that he wasn’t even there, and I fainted. Then his mother got me up and walked me to the bathroom, and had a conversation with me about being strong."
