Canadian hardcore punk band SNFU have been hit with an unexpected tour injury as they do their Australia/NZ rounds, celebrating the 30th anniversary of And No One Else Wanted To Play, with lead singer Ken Chinn (who goes by the pseudonym Mr Chi Pig) glassed in the face while playing their Wellington, New Zealand show.

As the band write on their Facebook, "Some twunt threw a plastic glass at Chi tonight, cutting his head open and he bled for the rest of the show."

"He put on what was probably his finest performance of the tour, later saying "you'll have to throw a brick in my face to stop me". Guess it takes a bit of blood (or a lot) for the shark to come out, eh?"

Having been taken to a Wellington hospital, Chi is reportedly "ready to rock", continuing on with the rest of their tour.
