The Smith Street Band Announce National Tour

2013 has been quite the year for Melbourne four piece THE SMITH STREET BAND. They toured Europe, the UK & America, have been included on favourite festival bills such as Falls Festival, Big Day Out & Meredith Music Festival and released their 10" Don't Fuck With Out Dreams EP.

To top it all off, they're leaving us with the news that they'll be touring the country in March of next year! Describing themselves as a "shitty rock band who enjoy mock meat and booooze," the dudes are a bunch of laid back gems who craft proper rock and roll.

Prior to releasing Don't Fuck With Our Dreams (via Poison City Records), the boys have distributed two full length records on the same label, as well as a 7" on Jackknife titled South East Facing Wall. Alongside this tour announcement, we've got our fingers crossed for another release in the not too distant future!

Now at the point in their career where they're able to personally select their own tour supports, The Smith Street Band have successfully managed to get American punk outfit The Menzingers, as well as Western Australia's Grim Fandango. The three groups will venture around the country together in both main cities and rural towns including Bunbury and Ballarat.
