Smashing Pumpkins founder and A Perfect Circle member to drop new solo album
Renowned founding member of The Smashing Pumpkins and A Perfect Circle guitarist Jame Iha has released the Australian details of his second solo album, Look To The Sky, which will be released by Stop/Start in August. The record was released overseas last year.
Iha last released a solo record in 1998 (Let It Come Down) and has since involved himself with film scores and collaborations, as well as A Perfect Circle. Look To The Sky is collaboration-heavy, with Karen O and Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Sara Quinn (Tegan and Sara), Nina Persson (The Cardigans) and Tom Verlaine (Television) all featuring on the collection.
The Australian release will also have a bonus acoustic track – Gemini – which is exclusive to the territory and New Zealand.
It will be released Friday 9 August, while the first single – Who Knows Where – has already been serviced.
