Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has taken to Twitter, reassuring fans the band is pushing ahead with new music in 2014. Long-time drummer Joey Jordison unexpectedly left the group earlier this month. Jordison is yet to make an official comment on his departure, with Metal Injection reporting the split may not have been amicable. Subsequently, Taylor, writing via Twitter, has stated, “Great things are coming” in 2014. “"It'll be a cross between 'Iowa' and 'Vol. 3' in a lot of ways, while also evolving the way we always have,” Taylor previously told Artist Direct about the direction of new material.
