Slipknot have released a new single The Dying Song (Time To Sing) and announced their widely anticipated new studio album The End, So Far

The Dying Song (Time To Sing) arrives accompanied by a video directed by Slipknot member M.Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan, which you can be seen below.

Talking about the upcoming record Crahan offers “New Music, new art, and new beginnings. Get ready for the end.”

Produced collaboratively by Joe Baressi (Queens Of The Stone Age, Soundgarden, Avenged Sevenfold, Parkway Drive) and Slipknot, The End, So Far is the follow-up to Slipknot’s 2019 We Are Not Your Kind which marked the band’s third consecutive #1 on the ARIA album chart.

The End, So Far will arrive via Roadrunner Records on September 20. The End, So Far will feature the previous single The Chapeltown Rag, the video for which can be seen below.

The announcement of the album comes a few months after the band launched an innovative partnership with The Sandbox, a leading gaming virtual world, to bring their curated festival Knotfest into the metaverse.
