Slim Dusty's Life To Be Celebrated With Week Long Radio Station

It's hard to believe that it's been 10 years since Aussie icon Slim Dusty passed away. The country music pioneer and his illustrious career are still so adored, so it seems fitting that we should take some time out to pay tribute to him as the anniversary of his death approaches this week.

ABC Radio have announced they will honour the musician with 'Celebrating Slim Dusty on ABC Extra'. The week long radio station will play songs from his collection, which spans more than 100 albums, along with a live concert feature, interviews and tributes from a number of local country stars.
