The venerated indie outfit will be in the country next year for Golden Plains and an additional performance
Iconic indie-rock vets Sleater-Kinney are already booked in to head Down Under for next year's Golden Plains festival, but they're taking the time to reward Aussie fans for their years of dedication with a one-off standalone headline show in Melbourne in March.
Touted as "the first headline date of their Australian tour" — which implies the exciting prospect of more to come, hopefully — the gig will take place at The Croxton on Wednesday 9 March, with tickets going on sale from tomorrow, 16 October via Oztix.
Golden Plains is held from 12-14 March, though, so if there are any additional shows in the works, there's a pretty limited window on at least one side of the festival. So, maybe it's just best to hedge your bets and assume this will be it, lest you accidentally miss out altogether and disappoint yourself.
