Hobsons Bay Coast GuardMelbourne outfit Hobsons Bay Coast Guard made quite an impact at BIGOUND 2018, and one listen to their latest single justifies the hype.
Premiered today via The Music, Wannabe takes their brand of self-proclaimed variety surf pop to another level.
“The song was recorded in my parents living room and feels like another mad experiment in genre,” the band said.
“Wannabe is short like a punk track, heavy like a garage track but still full of pop sensibilities.”
The single follows on from a recent signing with Sunset Pig Records Management and Select Booking Agency.
Hobsons Bay Coast Guard give Wannabe a hometown launch this Saturday at Boney in Melbourne.
