Silverstein Announce Australian Tour For May 2018

Canada's got some great bands within their borders and two of them have just announced a joint Australian tour for May 2018 - Silverstein and Comeback Kid.

From their youthful, aggressive and angsty origins, once-Victory Records staple and now rock/post-hardcore veterans Silverstein have had a killer 17-year career. In their time, Silverstein have put out eight mostly consistent records - their latest being 'Dead Reflection' (found below) - and have toured Australia a hell of a lot over the years, making them a familiar live act on our shores as much as most actual Aussie bands.

Which is something that their pals in Comeback Kid are also familiar with as a unit. That band's latest record, the solid 'Outsider', keeps these anthemic hardcore cogs turning at full pace by the group's latest offering being essentially a 'greatest hits' release of various musical facets; chunky metal riffs, massive choruses, a hint of thrash-crossover, blistering hardcore punk and honest, down-to-earth lyrics. Like most of their past albums, this new record also captures the bat-shit insanity and sheer intensity of their riotous live shows; something they'll indeed deliver when they hit up all major Aussie cities with the Silverstein boys next year.
