Supports Announced For Chet Faker East Coast Tour

Hot on the heels of the news the first of two concerts being presented by Chet Faker on the Sydney Opera House Forecourt has sold out, details of the supporting musicians and DJs personally chosen by Faker to share stages in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne on his forthcoming Built On Live tour have been announced.

From New Zealand comes Silicon, aka multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer Kody Nielson, who initially found fame in The Mint Chicks. Brian Shimkovitz's Awesome Tapes From Africa DJ set draws on his archive of African highlife, benga, soukous and more. LA-based Australian singer-songwriter Cleopold writes tracks for Miami Horror and Cassian and has collaborated with Bag Raiders and Chet Faker. All three acts will be at all his shows.

Meanwhile Melbourne DJ duo Otologic will keep the party pumping between sets at the Melbourne and Sydney shows, with a Brisbane DJ yet to be announced. For full details, go to theGuide or theMusic App.
