Project Q.U.A.D. in association with Southgate presents Play Me, an innovative program of Melbourne's best video art, animation and short films playing at Southgate Cinema, Melbourne's only silent cinema.
Audiences can sit and watch or just catch a glance of the range of moving image artworks from more than 20 video artists, animators and filmmakers on Tuesday (narrative short films), Wednesday and Thursday (video art) evenings from July 8 to 31.
A few of the participating artists include Tors Davis, Isobel Knowles, Alesh Macak, Mimi Leung, Pip Ryan, Emma Hamilton, Xanthe Dobbie, Travis Heinrich, Laura Carthew, Zoe Scoligio, Nikki Lam and more.
