I hopefully shouldn't have to tell you that 2006's 'Death Of A Dead Day' is a fantastic record. In fact, SikTh, in general, are a fantastic band and are charged with being a key influence over much of the progressive metal realms of the past decade and this current one.

Sure, the band's 'Opacities' EP was a nice addition to their musical coffers, but this new full-length, the group's first since that aforementioned 2006 classic, should assert SikTh back at the top of the pack. And I think that their latest single, the tight and groovy as fuck ripper that is 'Vivid', shows that these guys are more than capable of that.

Well, I mean, that's unless the rest of the new record has just as awful lyrics as this song has.

'The Future In Whose Eyes?' is out June 2nd and you can pre-order it here.

Look, I don't care what anyone fucking says, 'Bland Bloom Street' is still a banger!
