New Zealand singer Lorde has also been nominated
Australian singer-songwriter Sia can now add Golden Globe nominee to her ever-growing list of accolades, with the recent multiple ARIA Award winner landing a nom for her work on the Annie remake.
The Adelaide-born and raised artist, recently adjudged the third most powerful person in the Australian music industry, is up for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture for Opportunity, which she wrote with long-time collaborator Greg Kurstin and Will Gluck. Sia contributed heavily to the movie's soundtrack.
The Chandelier hit-maker faces some strong competition in the category though, with Kiwi singer Lorde nominated for Yellow Flicker Beat from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1, as well as Lana Del Rey for Big Eyes from the Tim Burton film of the same name among the category's nominees.

If Sia wins, there's a chance this guy could accept her awards for her.
Nine Inch Nails maestro Trent Reznor is also up for an award for his work on the Ben Affleck-starring Gone Girl. He, along with English muso Atticus Ross, is nominated in the category of Best Original Score for a Motion Picture.
