Shygirl Releases New, Arca Produced Single 'Come For Me'

Shygirl showcases an emotional depth in songwriting outside of its generic parameters.

Fresh off the back of announcing her debut album Shygirl has released new single Come For Me which is produced by Arca. The track is the second offering from the UK-based experimental pop artists forthcoming debut album Nymph which is set for release on the 30th of June.

Shygirl is one of the most in demand alternative artists in the world, recently on a hot run of momentum. Last year saw her release a collaboratin with FKA twigs on Caprisongs track papi bones, release slowthai featuring BDE as well as starring in Burberry's AW21 presentation, claim a prestigious spot in Forbes' 30 Under 30 list and team up with Mura Masa to remix Lady Gaga and Blackpink's Sour Candy.

Now she's gearing up to release Nymph which was created surrounded by a close-knit group of friends and collaboratores, including the aforementioned Mura Masa, Sega Bodega, Karma Kid, Cosha with production from Arca, Noah Goldstein, Danny L Harle, BloodPop, Vegyn and Kingdom.

The album attempts to reveal inner-reflection from the artist through a range of sonic palettes and textures, including her trademark experimental vocal tones and deconstructed dance melodies. These combine to create a distinct intimacy between artist and listener, showcasing an emotional depth in songwriting outside of its normal parameters.

Come For Me teases the record perfectly, which features a glitchy, deconstructed dance beat filled with raspy drums, varied vocal deliveries and distinctly eerie melodic sections.

Nymph is out on the 30th of September, you can pre order it HERE.
