Melbourne electronic music duo Shouse, consisting of Jack Madin and Ed Service, is releasing a new song with Jason Derulo next week entitled Never Let You Go.

Making the announcement on Facebook, they wrote, "Never thought that the legend Jason Derulo hearing our music in Ibiza would lead to a collab like this... but love what he's done! We can't wait to share this with you on November 4th," followed by a pre-save link.

Never Let You Go follows the group's February comeback single, Won't Forget You, which celebrates love, community, and singing together.

Shouse's 2017 single, Love Tonight, went viral on TikTok last year and became one of the biggest songs of 2021. Ant Celestino, A&R Director of the duo's label, ONELOVE, caught up with The Music last year to discuss how the track evolved into the little-song engine that could.

"At the start of 2021, we made a huge effort on working new remixes to help cement it as the soundtrack to dancefloors reopening around the world," Celestino shared.

"By May 2021, we had a true underground anthem with over 2 million total Shazams, and did it all under the 'majors' noses. They weren't sleeping on it - we had tried literally giving it to them multiple times over the years - they just didn't hear the magic in it. And I'd previously seen that rolling your sleeves up over the long haul for something you actually believe is not part of their business model.

David Guetta ended up being one of the DJs who remixed Love Tonight; taking his fans on TikTok through how he crafted his own remix, he said, "there's a big buzz around it - I think it's going to become really big," - which was more self-fulfilling prophecy than blind prediction.
