The Rolling Stones, Nick Cave and Sharon Jones documentaries to feature

Shadow Electric are bringing Shimmerlands, a festival of music, film, food and bars to Melbourne in January and February, and they've just announced their outdoor cinema will host a music documentary program over the festival's two month season.

You’ll be able watch a selection of music docos on artists including The Rolling Stones, Nick Cave, Sharon Jones, LCD Soundsystem, James Lavelle and Oasis within the grounds of the University of Melbourne.

The program will feature One More Time With Feeling, the documentary that accompanied Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' sixteenth album The Skeleton Tree and follows Cave's struggle after losing his fifteen-year-old son.

Other stand-out films include Olé, Olé, Olé, which documents the travels of The Rolling Stones and Miss Sharon Jones!, the narrative of the late American soul and funk singer Sharon Jones and her band The Dap Kings.
