Folk music icon Shawn Colvin is set to release her eighth studio album All Fall Down on Tuesday 5 June. The veteran singer-songwriter, who first learned guitar when she was just ten years old, collaborated with long time friend Buddy Miller to put together what she describes as “an album about loss but also about redemption and resolution.” All Fall Down was recorded in Nashville and features appearances from artists such as Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris and Jakob Dylan. It has been a colourful career for Colvin since her debut record was released over 20 years ago. Her memoir Diamond In The Rough will also be released on the same day as the album.
