Sharks have announced that bassist Cris O'Reilly has decided to leave the band, midway through their current stint on the 2011 Vans Warped Tour.
The band posted the following message:
"We regret to announce that Cris O’Reilly is no longer in the band. We would like to wish him all the best for the future. We will be continuing this year’s touring/recording schedule with a temporary replacement, including every date of this year’s Warped Tour. We hope to see you there. Thanks."
The band recently completed a tour alongside of Social Distortion and Chuck Ragan, and will be recording their new album with Brian McTernan in September, to be released in early 2012 through Rise Records.
