Perth's Shameem Announces New Album And Accompanying Tour

Perth singer songwriter Shameem has revealed a triple threat announcement; a new single, album and national tour are on the way.

The new single Under One Sun, a follow up to her debut track Beautiful Soul, is, in her words, about "all members of one human race, we all live on the same planet and receive life from the same sun in the sky." The single was co-written with Grammy-winning UK-based producer, James Bryan, who’s worked with artists like Nelly Furtardo, Olly Murs and James Morrison.

Under One Sun is taken off her upcoming album The Second City, recorded at Soundbaker Studios in Perth and due out next year on Friday 16 January.

The national tour consists of nine dates over six weeks, kicking off in her home town of Perth on Saturday 17 January.
