'The Voice' Spin-off Announced

Following last year's successful series of The Voice Australia, Channel Seven is returning this year with a new spin-off of the show, titled The Voice Generations.

The new show format will see people of a range of relationships teaming up, from families, friends, students and teachers and neighbours. 

As always the show will begin with the contestants attempting to turn Keith Urban, Rita Ora, Guy Sebastian and Jessica Mauboy's chairs in the Blind Auditions.

Then follows the contestants singing head to head in the battles and then the first grand finale of The Voice Generations.

Sebastian reflected on his excitement for the show: “It really encapsulates the true unifying aspect of music. It’s such an incredible feeling when you’re surrounded by people who you love, and the harmonies and instruments all come together.

“It’s infectious and addictive being in a family like that, but it’s also incredible to watch that magic unfold before our eyes.”

The show will debut next Monday, the 31st of January at 7:30pm.
