And he's heading out on tour very soon.

More Seth Sentry More Seth Sentry

Seth Sentry is back with his first new music since 2017.

Dubbed Wrong One, the track premiered on Richard Kingsmill's 2019 program on Sunday night and is the first music released by Sentry since signing with Island Records, with an album expected to drop later this year.

“When I write I usually have a little movie playing in my head,” says Sentry of the track.

“This movie takes place in the moments before the final stand. The last shootout. There’s a price on my head, and every bounty hunter in the country is here to collect it. Surrounded by dirty lawmen with shiny gold stars – high horses and low morals – I’m not going out without a fight. Besides, what kind of man would put a bounty on his own head?”

Sentry will be heading out on tour this June, kicking off at Brisbane's The Valley Drive In before heading to Sydney, Bunbury, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide. Tickets for the shows go on sale from 9am on Monday 13 May, head to theGuide for all the info and check out Wrong One below.
