After two years away, one of Australia’s most loved music festivals makes its long-awaited return this weekend.
Groovin The Moo is heading to Lismore on Saturday, 9 May, for an all-ages festival stacked with talent and good vibes. Held at the Oakes Oval, Widjabul/Wia-bal Country, this year’s event begins at 11 am and concludes at 10 pm. To help punters prepare for the all-day event, the set times and festival map have been revealed.
Planet Music Homegrown Hero winner Mr Rhodes will open the event and set the tone for what’s to come with an energetic early set. Other artists performing early in the day include Angel White, The Colliflowers and Maple’s Pet Dinosaur, leading into afternoon performances by The Terrys, The Chats and Baker Boy.
As the festival enters the evening, Kath Ebbs Presents Cowboy Country will shift gears ahead of a high-impact night of live music starring Dope Lemon, Ninajirachi, Matt Corby and Tones And I. International headliner Denzel Curry will close the night, performing from 9:15 until 10 pm.

Discussing the return of the festival, Fuzzy CEO Adelle Robinson said that bringing back Groovin The Moo is about honouring “what it has always stood for.”
In a statement, Robinson continued, “The festival belongs to regional Australia. Returning with a one-off show allows us to focus on doing it with the care and responsibility it deserves while the festival industry continues to navigate rising costs and increased pressure.
“We are so thrilled to come to Lismore, a place that reflects the spirit and resilience of the communities that Groovin The Moo has supported from the beginning. We thank Great Southern Nights, the NSW Government, Destination NSW and ARIA for their support. Without that support, this return of GTM would not be possible.”
Last-minute tickets to this year’s Groovin The Moo are now available.
