Originally scheduled to perform in Australia this March, post-hardcore emo band Senses Fail have abruptly cancelled the upcoming tour due to "unforeseen family circumstances".

The New Jersey-founded outfit confirmed the cancellation of their shows in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth yesterday in a Facebook statement. 

"Due to unforeseen family circumstances we will unfortunately have to cancel our planned Australia tour," the post reads. 

"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and we hope to make it up to all of our fans in the near future."

Ticket holders are encouraged to seek refunds through point of purchase.
