New York post-hardcore band Self Defense Family have announced they will release a new EP entitled 'The Corrections Officer in Me' this July.

New York post-hardcore outfit Self Defense Family have announced the forthcoming release of a new EP entitled 'The Corrections Officer in Me'.


The band will release the three-track 7" EP through the newly-formed Family Drugs label this July. The tracks were recorded in August 2011 at Panda Studios in San Francisco while the band were playing a string of shows on the West Coast.


More details concerning the release are set to be announced in the coming months. For now, "It's Not Good For the Man to be Alone", the first track from the EP, can be streamed below.
