EXCLUSIVE: Select Music Inks Deal With Buzzing Sydney Artist

Emerging Sydney alt R&B artist Liyah Knight is the latest act to join Select Music’s roster, The Music can exclusively reveal.

The news arrives ahead of the launch of Knight’s next single, Threads, a follow-up to her 2020 EP, Nesting.

“I am very proud to be representing Liyah Knight here at Select Music,” Select Music CEO Stephen Wade said.

“2020 threw up some incredible challenges to our industry and for developing artists especially, and Liyah has met those challenges head-on, despite being an artist just starting her career.

“Her attention to creative detail, uniqueness and approach to presenting her music ensures she will be an artist who will find her mark and continue to grow and challenge herself and the team around her. And I am looking forward to playing my role in helping build her career.”

Knight added: “Looking forward to joining the Select team and working closely with Steve on building a career around something I love. Nesting was somewhat birthed in the midst of last year’s lockdowns, so I can’t wait to perform it live alongside a whole new list of tracks.”
