Screeching Weasel bassist leaves to join Black Flag

Screeching Weasel bassist Dave Klein has left the band to play bass as part of the newly-reformed Black Flag.

Screeching Weasel frontman Ben Weasel announced Klein's decision to leave the band through the band's Facebook, highlighting the amicable terms of Klein's departure.

"It's my sad duty to report that Dave Klein has left the Screeching Weasel fold ... Black Flag came calling, and he answered the bell. And who can blame him? When Black Flag says they want to hire you, you suit up, give notice to the circus, and report for duty."
