Scorpions & Whitesnake's Show In Brisbane Tonight Has Been Cancelled

The news comes after the Sydney concert scheduled for Saturday was postponed.

The Scorpions and Whitesnake concert scheduled tonight in Brisbane has been cancelled "due to a medical emergency within the Scorpions tour party".

The news comes after the double headline show was postponed in Sydney on Saturday for the same reason, however a rescheduled date is expected to be booked this week.

Scorpions revealed on Saturday that the medical emergency related to vocalist Klaus Meine who was hospitalised for kidney stone surgery.

"It was a very painful attack," Meine said in a post on Facebook.

"In the hospital they removed the stone, and put in a stent... I’m in the best hands, but i doubt i’ll be back on my feet until early next week... "

The Brisbane show was to be the third and final gig of the east coast run which kicked off in Melbourne last week.

UPDATE:

The Sydney Scorpions and Whitesnake show, which was postponed on Saturday, has been rescheduled to this Wednesday (26 February) at Qudos Bank Arena.

All existing tickets remain valid, however punters who are unable to attend the concert can obtain refunds here
