LoveBusk have announced their very first completely online busking festival, a collaboration between a slew of artists and inspirational speakers all performing for you from wherever they are — be it backstage, at home, at work, or in a park — wherever they have that all-important internet connection.
In turn, you can watch artists performing from anywhere you have an internet connection by logging into www.lovebusk.com. The truly awesome part is that each artist is busking for their own charity — their "for purpose" partner — where 50% of the money you tip — with your Tip Dollars — will be sent straight to the artist or speaker's chosen charity. The other 50% heads to Orphfund, a charity helping to build a Children's Village for homeless or orphaned children in Uganda.
Held on 20 March, which happens to be the United Nations World Day Of Happiness, this year's artist line-up includes Asanda Mqiki, Ash Grunwald, Ben Lee, DJ Samrai, Cyrus, Excelsior, James "The Iron Cowboy" Lawrence, Kevin Johansen, Marianne Doczai, Murat Kilic & Spice DJs, Pierce Brothers, Sheeba and Steve Argent, with more artists to be announced very soon.
