Save The Date For Memory Lane, A New Festival In Port Macquarie

22 June 2015 | 10:02 am | Staff Writer

The laneway festival is targeted towards the area's youth

A new laneway party called Memory Lane is being planned for Port Macquarie this October, penned in to be a celebration and showcase of indie rock bands, local art and general merrymaking targeted mainly at Port Macquarie's youth.

Held in the laneway behind Port Central, the noon to 7pm event aims to provide a means for students to forget the exams and end of year pressure that is usually building around October, for an arvo of fun in an all-ages, drug- and alcohol-free environment.

Though the festival's line-up is yet to be announced (pencil in 30 June for that!), we know the Sunday, 18 October event will be vibrant and eclectic with food stalls, creative arts and loads of music to while the time away.

Head to theGuide and The Music App to keep an eye on the bands announced for Memory Lane.
