London post-punkers Savages will venture to Melbourne and Sydney for some more intimate shows while they're out here for the upcoming Laneway Festival.

The band, whose 2013 album Silence Yourself has received critical acclaim and a Mercury Prize nom, will take the stage at Melbourne's The Hi-Fi, plus The Metro Theatre in Sydney. Joining the four-piece will be the innovative and unpredictable Kirin J Callinan. The local singer-songwriter is also on the Laneway bill.

Tickets go on sale Thursday 31 October at 9am.
