Catch the troubadour on stage this June

Adelaide troubadour Sam Brittain has released the first single from his new album, Signal Lights, which will see him touring nationally in June.

The emotive track, Stab In The Dark, arcs from delicate to dramatic, with the lyrics telling of a "lethal dose of reality".

"I was beginning to see the real sacrifices that have to be made as a touring artist in order to be successful," Brittain explained. "The ones you love you lave behind. Losing a dear friend of mine a few months prior to a stroke was a shotgun blast to the heart… It was a blatant reminded that none of us are invincible and you never know when your time is up."

Recorded and mixed at Mixmaster's Studios by Mick Wordley, the new record nestles comfortably between folk and country, showcasing the singer's passionate vocals alongside luxurious string arrangements and impressive displays of musicianship.
