Very Nice! Sacha Baron Cohen Performed Two Secret Shows In Perth

Perth’s Comedy Lounge was the place to be last Tuesday and Wednesday night, with Borat legend Sacha Baron Cohen jumping onstage for two “top secret” performances.

As The West reports, Baron Cohen, who is currently in WA alongside Perth-raised wife Isla Fisher, was the venue’s surprise guest last week.

Alongside friend Rove McManus, Baron Cohen did 30-minute sets as his character Brüno.

Phones were locked up during the intimate gigs and it's reported that venue staff had to sign non-disclosure agreements, which means there’s, unfortunately, no videos of either set.

The no-phone policy might have been implemented just as much for the sake of the crowd as it was the Hollywood legend, as Baron Cohen apparently stripped one punter down to his underwear before putting clamps on his nipples.

Speaking with The West, said audience member noted: “We were sitting in the front row so I thought something would happen but not that. I was busting to do a wee and of course he got me up to do a makeover.

“I just went along with it, it was fun. The comedy was quite brutal but funny. Probably why no phones were allowed.”

Last month, Baron Cohen and Fisher attended the CinefestOz festival in WA where Fisher was awarded the Screen Legend Award.
