The celebrated guitarist has expanded his existing tour plans with two headline shows
Chicago psychedelic/folk-rock wunderkind Ryley Walker will play two headline east-coast dates in January in addition to his previously announced commitments at January's Flaming Lips-led Sydney Festival.
On the back of his critically acclaimed second album, this year's Primrose Green — which had guest spots from some of Chicago's great jazz musicians, such as drummer Frank Rosalie and bassist Anton Hatwich — the guitar virtuoso will be bringing his eclectic strains to Brisbane and Melbourne, complementing his place on the Sydney Festival line-up .
Ryley Walker will bring his psychedelic guitars riffs and songs to Sydney's The Famous Spiegeltent on Friday 22 January and Saturday 23 January. The next stop on his whirlwind itinerary will be Brisbane's The Junk Bar on Sunday 24 January. A day later, on Monday 25 January, he'll hit Melbourne's The Toff for his final stop on the tour, where he'll be supported by Palm Springs.
Ryley Walker's new full-length, Primrose Green, is available now through Dead Oceans/Inertia.
